PERFECT TWO: Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen and Transylvania

Hi beauties! I've been dying to share to you guys, the perfect make-up and beauty essentials that goes along with each other so well.

The first one of the series is here: it's the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen and Transylvania!

Sunny or rainy, I think this lippies are the beauties that can suit your style any kind of day. The maroon and deep violet shades are the best to bring out your badass/rebel look!

Aside from the fact that I'm a total Vampire wannabe, I love these babies because it is very easy to apply. The applicators of any Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream is furry and soft, therefore it absorbs the formula so well, making it very easy to cover your lips. These beauties can last for 3-4 hours for me, for I always eat snacks and drink liquids almost every hour. If I'm not eating so much, these babies last on my lips for more than five hours.

This maroon in warm undertone can definitely pass for an everyday bad-ass look! If you want to add some character to your aura, this is the perfect shade for you.

Two to three coats is enough to cover the whole lips. It depends on how chappy or soft your lips are, to know how many strokes you have to do to even out the color.

The search is over for the lippie that can achieve my dream vampire look! I just noticed that this dark beauty really get along with my black tee, so maybe you can try out the combination, too. He-he-he.

Anyway, maybe because of the reason that the color is really deep and violet-ish, I needed to be extra careful not to overcoat my lips, and not to make it exceed the real outline of my lips. This lippie has a wonder of creating its own outline on my lips when applied, so stroking the applicator on the inside of my lips before the formula dries, really helps to evenly apply the color to my whole lips.

BLENDED!

To contour my lips, I applied the Transylvania first and then covered my inner lips with the Copenhagen. The resulting color is actually a mixture of both colors, but the pure Transylvania color did the outline of the lip contour, while the Copenhagen color appeared as the highlight of the lips.
