Hello beauties! Are y'all ready for summer? :D

I know, I know, we all have been busy achieving that bodylicous so we can flaunt our gorgeousness this vacation! With that, I have the perfect piece for your "No Make-up" make-up look. Don't worry, this will be our little secret! ;)

Presenting, the latest hype that I got from our local teen stars, (Ha-ha!) the KJM Cosmetics' Lip and Cheek Tint!

Rating: 4.75/5

You guys might be expecting that I'll be applying this to my cheeks and lips as what the make-up suggests. Well, it fits perfectly with my lips, of course, that's why I'm posting a review. Unfortunately though, with my cheeks, I dunno. I tried. Ha-ha. Maybe it was because of my dry skin, the reason why the tint only formed a pinkish-reddish patch on my face. LOL.

So yes, this is more of a lip-swatch review.

And since I'm obvi not (yet) a hoarder and I just bought these babies to give it a try, I wasn't able to get all the shades. But  to give you, beauties, an idea, here are the swatches of KJM Cheek and Lip Tint.

These KJM Lip and Cheek Tint swatches are made by Karen Liz Escobar and the photos are grabbed from KJM All-Natural Cosmetics' Facebook page.

As I have checked the Instagram account of KJM Cosmetics, I looked onto the users who gave positive feedback and noticed that they've been combining shades on their lips and that most of them are combining the "Bloodshot" with "Bittersweet Magenta". I actually wanted to try it too, but I thought, they've already did it, so why don't I come up with my very own combi? Thus, the two pretty shades that are here: "Dolled" and "Bittersweet Magenta". Why those? Well, isn't it that pink and red are your first loves, too? ;)

Like how I usually make a review, I use the product for a week or more first before concluding that it works good for me. I want to give you the deets of their ingredients as I can say now that these beauties are pretty and harmless!

The picture below is the list of ingredients found in Dolled.

First of all, I'm no Chemist so I honestly don't understand the ingredients with color and number names, but aside from those, the main ingredients of these babies are: Aqua, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Erythrosine Red, Yellow 5, and less than 1/10 of 1%, and Propylyn Glycol.

Dolled

I've read that each shade has different ingredients, but I've noticed that these two have the same. So I did some research why is that, and I have concluded that maybe it's because they have the same tone--Red.

The picture below shows the ingredients found in Bittersweet Magenta.

Erythrosine Red is an organic compound that is cherry-red in color, and is ususally used in food coloring, thus, a reason to believe that it is safe. As a substitute to parebens which usually are the preservatives found in cosmetics, KJM used Citric Acid which is known to be a natural preservative, found in citrus fruits. Glycerin is probably the reason why the tint actually tastes sweet--it is a natural ingredient, a sugar alcohol, that can be used as a substitute to the other cosmetics' harmful alcohol chemicals. The Propylyn Glycol is also an organic compound that is used to enhance skin absorption, thus the reason why the lip tint can last long on your lips!

Bittersweet Magenta
Blended! This is how the two looks like on my lips, when applied together. I applied the Dolled first, then the Bittersweet Magenta afterwards. The change of color is not to much obvious, for as I have said, they both are Red tones. The benefits that I get when the two is blended is that, one, the color in between the pink and the red usually suits my skin tone more, and two, when both are applied, the formulation gets thicker and the tint lasts longer. :)

Yay:

*The pigment is fine, it can't be removed easily even after shower, can last 5-7 hours on me, considering that I eat every 2-3 hours. :)
*It looks pretty on mestiza skin, it can bring out your natural blush.
*The shades are morena-friendly.
*Best for natural look on the lips and cheek.
*Even if you have chapped lips, this will still be perfect for you!
*It forms a gradient effect that can somehow make your lips appear slim, but poppin'. ;)

Nay:

*For those who do not like a gradient effect, this will not suit you. If you purse your lips after applying (like how I usually do to dry the formulation on my lips), it kinda forms a darker color on the inside part of your lips and the outside part will have lighter shade, thus the gradient. Tho for me, I super loooove the gradient effect. :D

FAQs:

 *Where to buy?
I bought mine from a reseller that I know personally, Ate Leigh. You can reach her shop through Facebook or Instagram. Just click the social media name. ;) For provincial areas, you can look for some IG reseller's accounts in the comment box of KJM Cosmetic's main Instagram account. They usually state what province they are in when they comment to promote their shop.
*How much?
Ate Leigh gives one of the cheapest prices, which is P135 each only, and P50 shipping fee for Manila and Quezon City-based. I've heard that resellers have different prices. The prices range from P100-P150 each.

So that's it, beauties!
BTW, I also would like to apologize if I've kinda gone AWOL for the past two weeks. After the hell week from school, It was my birthday and the start of my frequent bonding with family and some friends. I promise to update more often next time. <3 I hope you guys enjoyed reading this and got inspired with the look, somehow! :) Looking forward to hearing from you soon! :*

Hi, Beauties!!!! Gosh, it's been a whiiiile! :D

Well, what do I have here? It's the newest product from Belo Intensive Whitening...
the Belo BB Cream
with Kojic and Tranexamic Acid!

Rating: 4.5/5
It was actually in sampleroom.ph's instagram account where I first saw this new beauty, and I did not hesitate for one second--the moment I saw the advertisement, I immediately checked Sample Room's website and ordered for one!

From the infinite number of times that we saw "Kojic Acid" in any whitening and/or beauty products, it is no longer new to us that this ingredient's benefits are, again, WHITENING, and anti-aging. Combine it with Tranexamic Acid, the best anti-discoloration drug or ingredient that can be used on skin, say hello to a fresher and clearer-looking skin that is on you, with or without make-up!

The formulation is very blend-able and super light on skin. It doesn't feel sticky after it dries, so it is really the best BB Cream that I can use in this kind of humid weather. Best of all, it is SPF 50+! The most amazing sunblock-make-up evah!

The shade that was delivered to me by Sample Room is medium to deep. I know I have a fair skin tone, so I was actually afraid to use it, for I thought that my face might be darker from my neck. It will be scary if ever. LOL. But surprisingly, it worked out fine!

See the results:

The only make-up I did on my face in the picture above are: 1. My brows (I can't live without them. LOL) 2. My eyeliner 3. My noseline (Please don't ask me why. Ha-ha!)

As you can see, my dark circles are quite obvious and the lines around my mouth are visible and the colors are somehow dark. As you notice, I did not put too much cream because I told you, it is very blend-able. A little amount will do just fine.

And this is the final transformation! You can notice that the dark circles are somehow gone and the dark tones around my mouth have vanished.

And to finish my look, I've just added some nude lippie to highlight my eyeliner that can cut a tomato. LOL. :D

Oh, and BTW, I did not put any powder. This baby gives a matte finish. Awesome, right? :)

FAQs:
 How much? 349.00php
Where to buy? In Sample Room (if they still have stocks), or in Lazada, Zalora, and in any leading drugstores nationwide!

I hope you enjoyed, beauties! See you again next time! :*

Hi beauties! How have you been? :D

If you've read my previous entry, I told you that I've got a story to tell you.
Unfortunately, I've had no time these past few days, except now.
So... Let's keep going!! :)

I want you to meet my eyelashes' new best friend: It's the Benefit Cosmetics' "They're Real!" Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara!

Rating: 5/5!

Why a perfect score? Well, I am not sure if it is just because I am a newbie beauty blogger, so I'm always overwhelmed whenever I try a new make-up or skin care and it does work super fine on me, but before you judge, wait 'til you see how my lashes transformed with this wand! :D

So as said in the instructions,
"Position wand horizontally and wiggle from side to side, base to tip, to achieve maximum volume, length and lift. Hold wand vertically and stroke upward to curl and separate. Layer generously as desired."
I believe in being obedient, especially in instructions written in a sassy way so, I just did what is said.

As you can see the wand/brush in the picture above and below, its tip looks like a cactus' thorns for it is separated in a strategic way. I think the purpose of these "thorns" is also to separate each lash, making it appear thicker as it actually coats them almost individually, and freeing the lashes from clumping.

After generously applying three layers, look at the "boom" effect that this mascara gave my lashes!

I think I smudged the mascara a little bit on my right eye, that's why there's a slight eye liner effect, but I did not wear any eye liner there. It was just the mascara, making my eyes look perfect. LOL

Oh, BTW, I'm also wearing EO-Executive Optical's Slate Gray Contact Lenses!

To be honest, this is the very first time that I ever used a Benefit Cosmetics product. It is a good thing that I loved the very first one that I tried because with that, I'm sure that this will not be the last Benefit beauty that I'll try and purchase!

It is no wonder why this baby instantly becomes one of my favorites. I've got no complaint--no single lash fell off, easy to remove with soap and water or eye make-up remover, surprisingly not heavy on the eyelids despite the volume it gives my lashes, and above all, can you just see how this baby INTENSIFIED my lashes?! My gosh, I feel like I can catch any person's attention if I bat my lashes onto them. LOL :D

So, to sum it all up:

Will I buy it again?
DEFINITELY YES!

Is the price reasonable?
Considering its effect, I can say, YES. Well, since I'm still a college student with limited money, (And too late to request for an allowance increase since I'm already graduating. Ha-ha!), I'm more of a drugstore make-up hauler than an "elite" make-up buyer. LOL. However, I can say that this is the type of mascara that I'll definitely save my allowance for. :)

FAQS:

Where to buy?
Here in the Philippines, you can look it up at Sephora.ph or any Benefit Cosmetics' outlet. (And the only physical store of Benefit that I'm aware of is at Rustan's Makati. He-he.)

How much is the price?
1,503.00 Php

And... the story!!!! :D

I've been dying to share how much my best friend, Allen Jediah, and I, enjoyed the #MichelleDy100kMeetandGreet event! The most fun thing about the event is that, it is a "bring your girlfriends" and everyone is invited! By, "everyone", even your boyfriend, your mom, your sister, cousin, friend, and even your child, is an important part of it.

And yes, you will be surprised by the number of gals who actually brought their hubbies at the event! Such wonderful guys to endure a 7-hour girly activity. LOL. But honestly, I think that those who brought their boyfies are those who actually bagged most of the prices. Ha-ha! *Grins* Now I know what to do next time! ;p

Ha-ha. I know by now, you're definitely thinking that I'm such a freebie-sucker. Well, why not? Who doesn't want some? Admit it, if you're not the super-shy type, you're probably a giveaway-lover, too!

Left: Me (in yellow) with Michelle Dy. | Right: Me with the witty and the life-of-the-party host of the event and responsible for all the good laughter in the meet and greet, Jheorge Normandia.

The most lovable thing about Michelle Dy is that, she's never a snob! I remember when I wrong-sent my registration details to her personal Instagram account instead of sending it to the organizer's Viber account, she even bothered to reply to me and tell me where to send the details correctly. From an almost-celebrity Youtube-er, you wouldn't expect that to happen! You bet how many instant messages and other notifications she does get everyday, and finding time to actually look at a comment or personal message, not to mention being able to reply, is a big of a deal.

Top left: Michelle Dy in wide smiles as she sat down and get welcomed by her fans. | Top right: Michelle as she participates in the game, "The Boat is Sinking." | Bottom left: The girls, getting ready and forming a circle as they participated in "The Boat is Sinking." | Bottom right: The lucky girls who won Pure Beauty's make-up workshop.

If only I can bag all the goodies! Gosh, every freebie they gave there is truly a catch! Unfortunately, I'm not the sporty-chic-type that day. Ha-ha! I'm so slow in the "Bring Me" game where you actually need agility to be the first one to present the required item to get the price. Even so, fortunately, I was able to bag one, and that was the item which I just reviewed above! Thank you, Michelle Dy and sponsors! If it's not because of you, I might never try this mascara ever. (I told you, as a student I'm mostly a drugstore-make-up-holic.) Ha-ha! :D

And aside from the loads of discount vouchers, these are the ready-to-use goodies that I got from the meet and greet! They're suuuper generous, aren't they?
I'll definitely not miss the next event! :D <3

'Got more questions? Any comments or suggestions?

Feel free to tell me! I've been meaning to hear from you, my fellow beauties! See you soon! ;)

xoxo with love, Arielle B. :*
